The Canary Islands are a great place to come for a holiday, but Tenerife contains some of the biggest brand names when it comes to shopping. Cartier, Burberry, Timberland, Versace, Gucci - all of these well known brands and many more can be found on the Island, with a large majority of them having specialist stores in the busy tourist areas of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos.

A lot of the stores have discounts on many items that you would find expensive back in the UK or elsewhere, and it's very simple to pick up bargains in Tenerife. Probably the most well known savings come from tobacco products and alcohol - although please make sure you check your take home allowance before buying these items.

Locally at Golf Del Sur, the San Blas Centre has a range of craft shops, boutiques and perfume shops and there are more shops at the Marina.
